With the election now behind us, I want to give a big Thank You to everyone who voted for  me, who contributed to my campaign, who worked for my campaign, who talked to friends and neighbors on my behalf, who posted lawn signs and organized events for me, and who believed, as I do, that it is time for change.

Although I didn't win, nearly 19,000 of you supported my efforts with your votes. I am deeply honored and grateful. I hope you are not disappointed with the results. I believe we helped underscore the message that it is no longer time for business as usual, and hopefully our elected officials will realize they have a profound responsibility to listen to our wishes. Please support the Democratic nominee, David Wu, this fall-- we must retain our Democratic majority in Congress. There is more that unites us than divides us.
